First Class

My first Stampin' Up Class - This is Lorri my 'upliner'. She's such a wonderful, supportive person. You had me at one class...later that night I signed  up as a demonstrator. (This was last year 2010)

Demonstrator Fun

One of our fellow demonstrators was teaching a card making class so we went to support her (Shelly Ellis - not shown). We had a great day making cards, laughing, then lunch! (Me and Kathy)

Here's my friend (and fellow demonstrator) Dawn. She's a hoot!  I have made some really nice friends through Stampin' Up.  There were other friends at the events but I didn't get the names of everyone.

Convention 2011

                    We're HERE!!  Salt Lake City Utah - Stampin' Up Convention 2011.
We arrived the day before the convention started so that we be able to get to the convention birght and early; which we did! Here were my roommates - Linda, Lorri, Anita, and me. We picked up our lovely FREE Stampin' Up Demonstrator Bag (soooo awesome). 

Then off to the Momento Mall Line we went to wait for the grand opening. Shopping - great way to start off the Convention. So many wonderful Stampin' Up goodies.

Here we are attending a private swap party hosted by darling friend Becky Roberts.  She put on a wonderful, cateered event, mini presentations on 'Business Tips', and of course we swapped cards and gifts; so many talented women!! (Me, Lorri, Becky, Linda, and Linda) -

This says it all!

First PRIZE PATROL of the night and I won! I won! I won!

My winnings - The 'Sunflower' Stamp (Item #123606) along with a spool of Saffron ribbon - I LOVE the largeness of this stamp - 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". It's just stunning. I was so grateful.

 

Yummy breakfast to fuel up before starting our day of stampin.  Look closely at Linda's fork- she was REALLY hungry (smile).

Giggles before bedtime...we all shared one room, four women, one bathroom, four days, princeless.
